3d printing sounds like the future of mod making ... You could really come up with some unique compact designs

ok decided on a 18500 batt and going to try and use the innards from the itaste for 1st go was just wondering if anyone would be kind nuff to point me in right direction for a short 510 atomizer holder(sorry not shore of correct name bit you screw atomizer in to).Dependant on that thingamajig im hopeing to keep the mod at about 5.5cm high by 4cm wide by 2cm deep in the same style as a vtr plagiarism yes but as I using there bits maybe they will copy my idea (unlikely lmao)
having read up on the dna 30 man that thing is small but the price tag isn't so ill have to save up for one and use it in next one which would prob take the width up buy 5mm and hex off one side off batt compartment to fit it in and have the led on the top
please excuse the spelling as im dislicksick but I am a qualified welder fab who has worked with cctv for last 11 years so not a complete numpty
will post a couple of sketch up pics when I work out 2 things 1 how to use it (auto cad its not)and how to post pics on sight lol

The only thing that puts me off plastic is if the battery decides to blow, it would melt that plastic in seconds, i prefer something that can handle the heat of a battery that decides to blow

I don't know the properties of the plastic ... Maybe it could be sprayed internally with some heat resistant layer

In fact the whole thing is way beyond me .... But it does strike me that there is huge potential for you moders to go crazy with your designs..... But it brings the whole new discipline of computer aided design stuff into the equation ... But it removes the need for drilling .. Cutting ... Etc etc
Obviously providing the raw materials are suitable ... God I wish I was younger and understood this stuff !!

A bit vague on the details but I seem to remember a 3d printed hybrid, Looked a bit like Lego but apparently worked well.
