@yinyang well I almost bought an evic last night through AAEC then then it was suggested I bought new from pink mule and maybe just get the head and siam tubes. I'm terrible for making my mind up.

Both the head and the kit are on special offer on pink mule at the mo. They only seem to have the 18500 Siam tubes as a kit, but you could buy the tube, end cap and battery cap separately. It's the smartest looking vw device available with the Siam mods, in my opinion of course, albeit pricey and with 510 threads that wear. 

I bought a zmax v3 to replace my evic as a backup device, and it's actually had a lot more use than I expected - but if memory serves me right, you've already had one of these. 

This fasttech kit looks like one to avoid in my opinion, only because from past experience I expect them to have a different version next week with more bells and whistles.

Sorry that I tagged you JayJ ...  turns out that this FT offering is nowt more than an eVic look-a-like. If you do decide to go for a new eVic, search around and see if you can buy the Evic control head and an eVic connection lead separately and then you just need to buy the siam tubes on their own. When I bought mine a long time ago I was able to get the separate items from Bargain Vapour and then buy the siam tubes from Pink Mule. I'm not sure if anywhere still does the control heads on their own nowadays as even the eVic kit is hard to get at times. Good luck with your search   ....  don't forget to cut and paste the Pink Mule dissy code for 10% off the pre-tax price æseløret if you do use them.

EDIT: just seen that Pink Mule does both the head and the tubes.

There are a few places still selling the control head when me and my step dad both bought ours we bought them from two different places I believe bargain vapour was where I bought mine can't remember where he got his from

have to admit...I bought an eVic, I wouldnt have touched it in its normal form? Its bile/vile/gross in its cheapo aluminium skin. But it looks 'amazeballs' wearing siam mods tubes, top and bottom. Piece of class now

is it because the original thread is poorly tapped,peps over tightening the attie or is it just made outa chease
