What ohms will mvp2 measure?

Hi,

For all my coil builds so far I've used my mvp2 to measure the ohms, builds being above 0.5 ohms.

Thought I'd try something a little lower...made 4x 1.4 ohms coils which I figure should come out about 0.35 ohms in quad coil setup.. Problem is my mvp2 reckons it's 0.00 ohms!

Can't see any shorts so wondering if it's simply too low to measure?

Unfortunately my multimeter is at work so can't check any other way till tomorrow... Bit gutted as dieing to try it but not going to until tested as could be lower, or actually a short.

Think it's time to get a proper ohms tester perhaps.

Any thoughts?

I am not too sure with the MVP2, but my Evic is similar, i have a 0.7oHm dual coil on my dripper.

Stick it on Evic i get 'Atomizer Short'
On my Vamo i get 0.7oHm reading.
On my multimeter i get 0.68oHms.

Some devices are just fussy i guess

I'm gona measure it with multimeter tomorrow, convinced its below what MVP2 will measure, can't see there being a short as easy to see in castle rda.
I did a build before that was a tough higher and it either read ohms or came up as 0.0ohms... at the time I thought it was just that I had not got screws tightened down right but thinking about it the MVP2 would of registered NON if was no connection.
Can't find anything about lower limit for testing ohms on web, but guessing most sub ohmers use a dedicated ohms meter or a multimeter.

Work cheapo multimeter read build at between 0.3 and 0.4 ohms so guess either my mvp2 is bust or more likely I've found its lowest measurable ohms. Bought a 510 connection ohm checker of eBay, will double check when comes.

When funds allow I'm gonna get a better multimeter too I reckon.
