I sell age related things FyneMods . Paypal hate me too Ive used sagepay and worldpay . Sagepay I had more check out problems but their customer service was great . Worldpay I have next to no check out problems but their customer service isn`t a patch on sagepay . Worldpays system isn`t quite as user friendly as sagepays . Both are worth a try . Personally Worldpay are better for me as their system seams to have a lot less bugs so you hardly ever need to speak to customer service once your up and running.

Really sad to hear about this Matt and I would not have thought that anything you sold was age restricted as IIRC you never sold anything containing nicotine. Good luck and hope you find a solution soon. I suppose they see it that the purpose of the products he sells is age restricted. Would like to know what they are using stateside! Not the same but since medical marijuana has been legalised under certain states law yet still illegal at the federal level, I wonder how they deal with payment transactions..

For an industry valued at around $2.5bn, that's a lot of paper bags

Posted this on the other mvapes thread but have you considered the ewallets Skrill and neteller as means to accept payments?
The former is a UK regulated FS company and offers a similar service to Paypal with a similar fee structure and options to allow direct card payments from customers and vendor to pay fees.
Both companies specialise in offering payment services to the gambling industry so I doubt there will be issues with age related payments

Really sorry to hear about this FyneMods... I really hope you get it sorted. Lastly, I don't mean to be a pest but these typos are going to cause my ocd to explode Important please read!!! As of Monday the 27th October 2014 we will no longer be able to accept any form of payment for products due to are (our) paypal account being restricted and now our card payment account banning us from using them as they do not allow the sales of e-cigs with there (their or the) service they provide. I have spent the last week desperately defending our case with both companies but to no avail. We are desperately try to work out another way to take payments and remain a functioning business. We are currently waiting to hear back from other payment providers. In the mean time as of i think midnight tonight the 26th October you will no longer be able to purchase items for us however in this down time we will remain very active on planet of the vapes forum and also AAEC forum to keep our customers updated. We still have tons of stock for sale but just no way to accept payments at this time. If you do require something please contact me directly and i will be more than happy to discuss a way to pay, e.g direct bank transfer cash in post etc.. collection... All orders placed so far and over the weekend will be dispatched as normal on Monday and tracking numbers will be uploaded as usual. As always guys Peace Matt :-)

Hi all little update for you, I want to supply the following information because i believe that everyone should know what is happening, customers and other vendors as this ultimately affects us all.
As you know paypal say im breaking there acceptable use policy that basically states you cannot sell items that infringe copyright or trademark.
I explained that some of the products i sell are copies of items that are not copyright protected nor have trademarks or patents, as the companies that create the original mods most cannot afford to purchase such rights, the only one i know of that owns patents is gp paps. I always check the original makers site (if they have one still) to see if they have copyright or patents or trademarks before i decide to list a copy of that item.
Also our stripe card payment processor said they can no longer provide there services to us, as the banks they use do not allow there services for companies that sell e-cigs and e-cig related products.
Upon further reading it would now appear that all major banks and banking institutions have been leant on by the goverment to put e-cig sales in the highest risk categories. thus making sellers of such products very difficult to get bank accounts and payment providers.
I sadly am the first of many and at the moment i am struggling to find a solution apart from send cash in the post lol. It would genuinely and actually be easier to sell guns online here in the uk fact.
I am still trying very hard to contest paypal but i do not hold up much hope as they just seem to bend the rules to suit them. For example fastech and paypal have teamed up to give german customers a 10% christmas promo! paypal germany are actually promoting fastech on there site! one rule for one and one rule for another it seems.
Secondly on the email reply i got about the first appeal i made against paypal they actually added a sentence to the acceptable use policy to back up and justify there action against me, however this sentence is not visible to anyone that signs up to paypal and clicks and reads paypals full terms and conditions and acceptable use policy. It is disgusting big corporate behavior. Oh and on top of that if you phone up more than three times by signing into your restricted account click need help click contact us click phone us, they automatically block you from phoning them and will not display there phone number.
But still as always Peace Matt x

According to paypal this is to cover any refunds or charge backs that may occur. Please mr paypal explain to me how i will pay my morgage and bills! Grrrrrrr peace (angry matt) x

We are looking onto legal advise. And hopefully will have success with our sagepay application. Just spoke with them this morning and we are looking at about 3 to 4 weeks to be up and running.
So in the mean time i will continue to be very active on here and you all know what i sell so just drop me an email if you need anything.
The shop part of the website may go offline as we re construct it to suit our new payment provider to integrate with sagepay.
So don't panic if you cannot see any products i will update a list on here and you can just email me with your requirements. ~Peace Matt

Soo happy to hear that things are looking up for you, however long it may take. If I was a vendor using PayPal I would make sure my account was constantly emptied into my bank account. Freezing someone's account for 6 months is basically shutting that person down. No thought about bills and putting food on the table.

Are you a FSB FyneMods they have a free legal advice line, it's only about £130 to join IIRC.
