My friends are stupid.

I have managed to help several people including family members get into vaping and there is only one member of my family (my niece) left who smokes, I haven't preached to any of them, just shown them whats what and it was up to them if they wanted to use them and now my Brother has taken up vaping in the last 2 weeks and he's doing great and he was a 50 a day rollie smoker. In fact we were all heavy smokers but not anymore even managed to convert my Son's now ex from Luxembourg, she had never heard of them and I believe she still vapes in fact I have helped 2 of his ex's lol, I told him make sure next one is a non smoker lol.

I'm happy to say my friends are the opposite. One got me on to vaping. The other got into it after seeing mine. We all now use aspires and various mods. So no smokers among us now!

Against all odds #2 is still vaping (although moaning about his kit a fair bit, should've bought the EVOD kit I pointed him in the direction of!) and slowly cutting down on the stinkies. But he has one of the £14 2x1100mah eGo starter kits from the AT closing sale heading in his direction, so that'll stop him moaning about batteries for a little while.

But when he asked me yesterday if it was normal to still crave stinkies while vaping, I asked what strength juice he was using. 11mg. Not only did our lovely local B&M fleece him on kit, they recommended a juice too weak for someone who smoked the amount he used to. No wonder vaping has been a bit of a struggle for him. He is lucky I've got plenty of 18mg juice that I'm unlikely to vape any time soon and I'll sort him out with some 24 if that doesn't do the trick.

I guess that means only one of my smoking friends who are curious about vaping is stupid!

I'd find the B&M ripping people off (I know I've moaned about their £25 650mah blister pack before!) a tiny bit easier to deal with if their advice was OK. But it isn't and they are only in it for a quick buck.

But I've already got one colleague hooked on JJ's gingerbread who has vowed not to hand another penny to said evil B&M and I'm confident that my mate will be a second convert. Every penny I can get my friends and colleagues spending with companies who care about their customers and the products they make/sell is a tiny victory!

Thanks for writing when I am on about this thread BrenD. I have just recommended the evod starter kit to a secretary for her DH who needs it by Tuesday

i have some stupids colleagues also....in their opinion vapin is much more dangerous than smoking .....they said "Christian you smoke poison" ....no comment ...i have no advice for this kind of people...

In a way I can understand where friend #1 is coming from ... if someone could come up with an automatic battery/topper combination that looked similar in size and shape to a cigarette but could offer the battery life and vape quality that I get from my Provari and a decent tank, I would be the first to grab one. The light sabre look and the "faffing about" that is required with higher end vaping gear can be off-putting for someone who just wants to stop smoking without getting into the whole hobby thing like the rest of us.
