Despite knowing I was trying it on a bit, OK a lot, I grabbed two pairs of 18650 (from Fogstar obviously!) as I've been using 21700 mods for aaaages.
With more than enough 21700s in rotation to make using the 18650s pointless and Fogstar being too awesome to deserve me cancelling or returning the order, I had no choice but to buy a new mod anyway.
From all of the bells and whistles to absolutely none, I'm now the proud owner of a Squid Double Barrel V3 and I'm in love. I only ever use VW and have a thing for heavy mods, so we were always likely to get along.
But all of my subtanks/RTAs are too big for it or look really stupid so...
Will I end up spending £70 or so to avoid wasting £20 of batteries? Yup. Not that I've ever needed an excuse to buy gear.

The price has gone up to £89.99. I expect the cancellation emails will land in our inboxes soon.

Well at that price definitely worth a punt I think it's a misprice though so doubt they will actually send it out at that price, here's hoping. looking around most have it between £84.99 - £124.99 sale price. Fingers crossed. That thought had obviously crossed my mind as the board alone is worth a lot more than £25, but we might get lucky. Only one way to find out!

I've had three emails from a vendor in the last week or so trying to flog me an Evod kit for £15.
Not happening!

As for the pod question, the Smok Thallo S ticked all of my boxes so I grabbed one the other day. 21700 but small/light enough to pocket, 4.5ml pods available and cheap enough for me not to be too gutted if alcohol plays a part in its loss or demise. www.vapeclub.co.uk/vape-pods/smok/thallo-s-kitI didn't think I was a pod kinda bloke, but I really like it, enough for it to have crept into rotation when I didn't expect to use it much at home.

Don't want to hijack (any more than we already have!!) Andy's pod query thread.... but has reminded me of the grenade mods Innokin Coolfire2 and others:
What a sensible idea for an ecig design! Ah, the Cool Fire 2. I wish I knew where mine was as I loved that mod, I haven't owned anything that felt that nice to hold since. Got a bit of a reaction when I took it to work too, good times.

Hi, I haven't had a play with the Zlide kit, but Innokin make solid gear and if it isn't too heavy it would be my choice of the three you mentioned. Definitely an upgrade from the K3 tank too. The battery life of the Crown might be a bit of an issue and while you can get MTL pods for it, it's the sort of device that was really designed for a restricted lung hit and to play nicely with higher VG, low nicotine eliquid. Anything Totally Wicked/TECC branded is quite pricey and better equipment can be had elsewhere, to put it politely. I don't think anyone here would recommend spending money with them in most situations. Something else to consider is the JAC Vapour VIM. www.jacvapour.com/vape-kits/aio-vimQuite compact and lightweight, without being too small to be an issue, incredibly easy to use/maintain and it has a nice rubbery finish that should be quite easy for your Mum to grip. The device and coils are reasonably priced and it performs nicely too.

If you are OK with handing money over to TECC/TW, you can't go wrong at this price. www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk/aspire-mixx-mod.htmlThe Mixx is a stunning little thing, the build quality is top notch and it feels great to hold. I spent a few quid more on a black one a couple of weeks ago and it blew me away. A lot of sites are charging £53-64 and I'd be happy to pay that much, so £43 is an absolute steal. It would have been rude not to pick up a tuxedo to keep the jet black company!

Happy Birthday Bren - hope you're celebrating in style!
I don't know about style, my body isn't up to that at the moment But a gig in London and a sensible amount of alcohol has been fun!
