Yeah you could do that the reason for the stacked was cause it gives you more voltage but it it also stop the voltage drop you get a higher voltage with less drip on your atty when using stacked vs single... yes you can drop the ohms but that would also be better for stacked as you would get longer bat life or you could use higher ohms with stacked and up the wattage higher..... to be honest though its all swings and round abouts its how you use your batteries with what coils/wick and ohms types you use its just not all down to the batteries ..... though its good to experiment

I stack identical 18350s in my Vamo ... It doubles the available voltage .... And therefore increases the available wattage ... Many will tell you it's a bad thing to do ... I've looked into it a lot and provided you use good batteries, ideally of the same make and condition, charged at the same time you should be ok So the vamo needs the extra volts to extend available watts then? not off to buy one or out, just curious. Yep .... Apparently you can crank it right up but if you haven't got the voltage from stacking it just lies to you .... I say "apparently"... Because I don't really know for definite but 'twas what I'd read about it

Just a thought, why are we all vaping using 4.2v batterys......a simple car battery would put out 12v lol. And for convenience the much lighter 6v batteries could work!

Just had a search and smaller 12v batteries do exist, I then wondered around Web till I found myself back here so not sure but think they were alkaline...guessing that wouldnt be safe enough. And don't know what there amp discharge rates would be, that would be important. Still car battery may be safe enough....with long lead.....wouldn't want it to short some how in your hand though....dropped spanner on couple of times....sparky!
