I'm sorry to say that it doesn't surprise me one bit. We, the 'generally' honest and hard working people, are caught in the middle of the 'pompous and self serving' politicians (in most countries, not just ours) and the 'dregs' who both know the systems and can manipulate at will. While the rest of us are too busy trying to make a better life for our families.

I really think the legal system (and their ridiculous costs) is in need of a radical 'review'... but that would probably put a few more millions into the hands of 'legal consultants' and not solve much. Is it any wonder that people are just looking out for themselves.

I agree entirely with what is written in this thread, the cowardly scum that did this, should be at the very least put in solitary until he dies. Would love to see him getting a regular beating. I just feel so sorry for the Rigby family, having to put up with hearing this pr!ck trying to get his sentence shortened, but they will have to live their whole lives without Lee. Hanging is far to good for this scumbag.

As has been said by previous posters... he knows he's not going to get out (God forbid)... but he wants to keep his name and 'cause' in the limelight. He, and his like, are on a different 'planet' to us and I doubt we will ever understand them.

The world is a dangerous place at the moment, and our leaders (not just here) are doing us no favours in sabre rattling. If ever it needed a true 'world leader' to bang heads together, it is now... but I see no-one on the horizon.
