Since upgrading from XP too Windows 8.1 i used to with XP when there was a spelling error i got a red squiggle under the spelling error but now with Windows 8.1 i don't. Any idea as my speling is crap 99% sure it's not a forum thing and it's a Windows 8.1 thing but is there a fix? Help

I think it must be a Windows 8 thing. I have Windows 7 and we get the red line on it. Sorry it's not much help, which browser are you using?

There is an 'add-on' which you could install, but not sure without installing it myself if it provides the red line business. Search add-ons for "UK English spell checker" - there is an updated English dictionary (or even an Australian one?!?!).

Right click in a text box, like the "Quick Reply" one below and make sure "Check Spelling" has a tick by it

After you've installed it you'll need to click the "Languages" button shown in my pic above and make sure English (UK) is selected
