KFLs arrived this morning. Haven't had a chance to recoil, but changed the wick in one for CW and filled it with Red Astaire and now puffing away on top of the new Nemesis.

MY KFL arrived today 11 days from group buy,must say it is very well made and very clean,its vaping like a goodun.

Bad news for the "ding" but at least it should not affect it.

DO NOT LOSE THAT 3mm rod, you need it for the switch. The Whole thing is a bit Like a Airfix Kit and you can assemble it in many different ways.

Start by assembling the switch with the 2 springs and the 3mm rod that sits like this :



Start from the top, attach your atty leaving a TINY gap between the top and the atty. Then screw in the centre pin until you can feel it touch the bottom of the atty, do not overtighten.



Next if you have a kick is the kick ring, the bit with the blue control at the top, leave this our if you do not have a kick. The kick will slide inside the ring and find it's own level.




Battery sections next; here it is in 18650 mode (both tubes)



Here it is is 18350 mode



So, here it is fully assembled: From the Top :-

Top cap, Kick tube, 18650 extender tube, (gold ring between) 18350 tube, the gold ring below the etched number and logo is the lock ring (spin down to lock the switch), switch at the bottom.



When assembled there should be no rattle. As you adjust one thing it affects something else, if you have any gaps screw the switch pin in, if it's not firing unscrew the switch pin a bit. You may have to unscrew the atty slightly to take up slack and remove gaps.

Oh no !!!! DiscoDes I did have the little rod and just dropped the bloody thing !!! Scoured the floor and work top ! Could of gone under the hob or a crack in tiles or the dogs eaten it !!! Can't find it anywhere ! Think it's not to be !! Oh and only one silver spring not two !! Best stick to my vamo me thinks !

You can use the end of a cocktail stick jammed in instead of the pin that's what I used in my second hand one that I bought.
As long as you have the larger spring it should still work.

managed to find it ! Soooo ... As soon as I put battery in ... Haven't tried kick yet ... The switch doesn't seem springy but the whole thing gets hot but doesn't fire the atty !! Scared il blow my self up it smells too !

Absolutely no chance of standing the nemesis up without it firing. Would I be better getting magnets or can you get replacement springs? Cheers

This spring pretty flimsy too ! It's not even springy on the switch think ithe switch is trashed !!! I think you can replace the spring with magnets , googling every thing ! At least yours will fire the atty ! That stressed I've reached for my 30mg emergency primo Verdi !!!! Normally @ 7mg ....

Thanks jaysey. Sorry to hear you're having problems. I'm really pleased with nemesis and KFL setup. Even with the pre-fitted coil. If only the spring was a bit stronger it would be perfect.

They are a learining curve.

But mine came with 2 springs, a little one and a longer one, both are not very springy, I'm going to try the magnet upgrade.

Jaysey, take the switch out, make sure when not pressed the top of the screw in contact post does not protrude above the plastic washer.

If it's getting hot, you have a short somewhere.

Do you plan on going to any Vape-meets any time soon or do you have someone with a bit of experience of these that you can take it to to help you set it up?

thanks , the post isn't protruding and it looks ok but still seems a rattle , tried both nipple top and flat top ! Goy a tiny puff of it but nothing now ! Il persevere !! Got to get little man from school now !! Do u think I should try it with the kick ?

NO!

Get it working without the kick first. You need to get the length of the top battery post and the bottom switch post set correctly first.

You are trying it without the kick ring?, which battery are you using 18350 or 18650?
