Protank authenticity codes?

Hi guys, thanks for that Des, I'm just going to throw caution to the wind and use them, it's hard to describe where the different coloured part is, it is the bottom of the inner stem if that makes sense. The picture is of the 2.5ml tank protank 3. I guess I only noticed it as it was mentioned as I didn't notice it before, I mainly noticed that both boxes had the same code on them.

Had 2 of my protank 3's delivered today, and am vapeing on one now as i type.
good flavour, vapour, and throat hit, have mine with the air flow controllers that came in also from focal friday.
just waiting for 2 more protank 3's - 2 airflow controllers, and 7 coloured tanks.
Hopefully should all be with me this week

I have to disagree. The Protank 3 is described as "stainless steel & glass" in the product description on the US Kanger website. More importantly it stresses "pure stainless steel" which suggests 100% stainless steel.

wait till you recoil them with a single coil and cotton wool they is lush on flavour

and im with you mrsmac gona carry on using mine as haven't found anything to suggest otherwise unless your gona be vapeing a a gazillion degrees ok maybe not that high but brass melts between 900c and 1000c and that includes red and yellow brass but im shore some one will tell me the error of my ways and at that point ill get one of the lads to rechrome that bit

The Kanger Protank 2 offers the same great features and performance as the Kanger Clearomizers but with the introduction of a glass tank! The Protank 2 is also 510 threaded and will work on a 510 threaded MOD without the need for an adapter.

Tips:

The metal tube in the center of this Clearomizer leads from the mouthpiece to the battery end. Avoid getting liquid in this tube when filling the Clearomizer.
When unfastening the base (atomizer head) to refill the Clearomizer, the seals are temporarily broken and liquid will leak from the mouthpiece or escape into the center tube. Always wrap a cloth or piece of tissue around the mouthpiece when unfastening the base of the Clearomizer.
Gurgling noise or leaks: This is a sign that liquid has found its way into the metal tube in the center of the Clearomizer (and usually occurs after a refill). Ridding the center tube of liquid will resolve the issue. To do so without emptying the tank, remove the Clearomizer from the battery, wrap a cloth or tissue around the battery end of the Clearomizer and blow through the mouthpiece.
The atomizer head of the Protank can unfasten when unscrewing the tube or base. Always secure the atomizer head before reinstalling the base of the Protank.
It is normal to find a small amount of liquid in the battery contact area when removing the Clearomizer or any atomizer. We recommend cleaning the battery before charging it.


When possible, keep the tank full and never below 1/3 full of eLiquid ("topped off"). This helps maintain the "vacuum" in the tank and prevent leaks.
Atomizer heads have an average lifespan between 10 to 20 days. When the atomizer head wears down, it may begin to leak. Replace the atomizer head with a new one if available.

Are the codes on your box the same or different?

Now that's interesting the pt3 isn't on the website, only the mini!

Got mine Mrsmac from focalecig part of the group buy that Des put up, so if your on about the mini protank 3 from somewhere else? then my bad.
but have had a look at the numbers, and ain't they small (china must have better eyesight than us)
but the last 5 digets are different.

Thanks for looking. Mine are also from the group buy and ate the full size but the numbers match up exactly the same on both boxes. Oh well nevermind
