I'm bored and doing my usual trick of virtually spending money.
I was looking at Torchy's batteries on Ebay and I saw that he is selling Trustfire batteries. Now I know that torchy is a trusted seller and always sells top notch stuff, but I always thought that any batteries with 'fire' in the name were to be avoided?
Just wondering if he is selling them if they are ok or not, I can't see him risking his reputation by selling sub par batteries.

They are probably better suited for occasional use in torches, the clue is in his name.

He put a post up on UKV about those batteries, trustfire got in touch with him about some new batteries they had, he tested them and they are up to a much higher standard than trustfires usual tatt

As far as I know "torchy" tests all his batteries, I've dealt with him for all my batteries and I don't think he would sell them if he didn't think they were up to the mark ! If I remember right ..... He wrote the piece where it mentions not buying batteries with "fire" in the name , lol

There's a seller on ebay called uk-bright-ideas that has graphs for the Trustfire batteries at various amp loads in his ads.
Looking at them, Trustfires' new cells are putting a lot of known name makes to shame.
How they would behave when/if the battery vented is open for debate I guess.
It'll take quite a while for people to begin to value their brand again though, unless some of the big youtube reviewers get behind them.

Normally I wouldn't consider them at all, it was only because I was looking through Torchy's eBay and saw that he was selling them I thought I'd mention it. If it was any other vendor I'd have scrolled right past.

When it comes to batteries for vaping I stick with AW or Efest IMRs from Vape Escape who are one of the very few authorised AW retailers in the UK ... there are some fake AWs doing the rounds at the minute so beware of anything that appears to be too good to be true.
