Still don't know why, maybe someone scientific may have the answer............. Steeping mixes in glass bottles seems to take twice as long as plastic...hence me going back to plastic. Still using glass for nic base and concentrates. Also changed the size from 30ml too 50ml so the juice has more room. All now happily steeping away

Not scientifically minded but I would guess by saying plastic is a lot thinner than glass so this would affect the temperature of the steeping process by allowing room temperature to breakthrough the plastic more easily. If you get my drift. Glass being tougher would slow the process down. Sorry if terminology isn't correct but was never good at explaining.

Glass inhibits the deterioration of flavouring/nicotine base, which is why we use it for long term storage . . . . so it makes sense ( to me anyway ) that it will also slow down any steeping and infusing of ingredients. Feminine logic applied here, no need for science.

If the glass was coloured it could be to do with the light ?

S'wot I've been doing all the time tbh Super-Shiny. It works, so never felt the need to complicate matters.

Yeah, i have been looking at my Vanilla Custard now for over 2 months saying to myself "Turn darker for god sake's, what's wrong with you"...and at the same time had some Pixie Caramel in a plastic bottle turned dark in no time. Already noticed in just two days now that my mixes are turning darker in plastic bottles, if that was in glass i would not even notice a change after two weeks. Plus the good thing is that the plastic bottles are 50ml so more room for air and to steep.....now just the waiting game

Vendors don't send out 10ml of eliquid in a 30ml bottle do they? I must be in a militant mood tonight.
