I supose this has been asked many times so appologies in advance. I am new to vaping(acouple of months) and have been researching on this forum. Now my head is spinning wih ohms, volts, mods etc.
I currently have an ego battery with a Kanger T3s clearomiser and getting on fine. What would you peeps suggest as an "upgrade". Should I experiment with different batteries or tanks? Whats the best budget gear to go for?

I dont know the rules on this forum as to referring you to vendors, but I would look at something like a VV/VW device. Now budget is key here, because the MVP can be purchased for about £40 and has an internal battery, so can be charged using the supplied lead. If you wish to look at something like the VTR, then you will also need to purchase batteries and a charger. Once you have mastered VV/VW devices, then you have the beauty of Mech mods, followed by re-buildable tanks. The journey is long and expensive. Whilst you are there, look at buying a new tank, like the nautilus, and for £60 all in (MVP & Nautilus) you will also get free delivery

ok - I would suggest you get one of the itastes fairly cheap and great to use - and then I would spend a bit more money on various atties till you know what you want - ok ok have said that often but one of my favourites is the protank 2 with the airflow control - also available form myepack - a vendor with extremely quick delivery times edit - and please - no appologies for any question - we all ask - I have asked already zillion times - that's one of the many great things of this forum

Hiya mate, I am pretty new myself infact newer to vaping than you, I am about 1 month in so i'll just recommend what I can on my limited knowledge I would highly recommend a variable voltage / wattage battery, personally I have the Itaste vv v3, I cant fault it, it allows you to adjust your watts / volts to find that sweet spot on whichever tank your using, as for tanks my favourite is the Kangertech Aerotank, it has variable airflow so that you can adjust it to your liking, so you can either have it tight for nice mouth drags (like a cig) or loosen it up for big lung hits My biggest problem these days is juices, up until recently I was paying £5.00 per 10ml bottle, that is until I found Joose Juice, they sell 10ml bottles for £1.49 and several flavours came recommended from the awesome people on this site so I ordered 6 which are currently steeping, defiantly go check them out Also checkout fasttech.com they supply just about anything to do with vaping at SUPER cheap prices, just be aware most of it is shipped from china so it will take 3 weeks ish to arrive, warning though that site is like crack, so many things to order, too addictive Last thing check out dripping, I made a thread in this beginners section about newbie dripping....go check it

Loads of great advice above huffnpuffThe next logical step up from your ego battery is a variable voltage or variable voltage/wattage device. You can either get one that looks similar to your current ego battery, like the itaste vv3 linked above or a vision spinner (both widely available, but Myepack.co.uk is a forum favourite and is probably one of the cheapest UK based vendors you will find) Or you could go for an MVP, which is the same in principal, but is a box shape, about the same size as a pack of 10 superkings. The other type of VV/VW device is a regulated mod, which has separate batteries which you remove to charge, so you would have to invest in the mod plus decent batteries and a charger. You are very likely to invest in more than one of these in the future, so may just want to skip the itaste/spinner/MVP stage, but they do make great back-ups anyway As for a new tank, for me, it would depend on what battery/mod you decide to go for as I think the bigger tanks like the Protank/Aerotank/Nautilus look better on the bigger batteries, whilst the mini protank/Aspire BDC/iClear 16 size clearos look better on the itaste/spinner type. So many choices, it does make your head spin. In all reality, if you are anything like most of us here, you are likely to try most of the above at some point over the next few months icon_shoppingm Don't apologise for asking any question, we were all new to vaping once and had to ask our own questions, our mantra round here is the only silly question is the one you don't ask

Thanks for the replies. Think I may go for the vv first. I don't have a problem with juice, love the tobacco one I'm using. Might be tempted with a liquorice flavour for a change.
