I am 6 weeks into vaping after 50 years on 30 a day. Have gone from the unreliable starter stuff from B & M's to finding Myepack through this forum and now enjoying better and more reliable "hardware" At home I am using a Vamo 5 which is great and for out and about I am using Ego "type" batteries. They only seem to be effective when freshly charged and soon fade away. I find I need more umph outdoors but find the Vamo a bit big to carry around when walking etc. Do you recommend the Spinnner or a mechanical mod at 350 mode. The heads I am using are Protank,Mini Protank and Kanger clearo. Any advice would be very welcome.

Personally I'd go for a spinner. A 350 battery won't last as long, and in a mech mod without Kick fitted the power will soon drain to lack-of-oomph status

Agreed with the spinner option, despite what people say it DOES still drop off a little as the charge reduces but it is still infinately better than an ego, I personally have found that I still want more, so despite the size I use a MVP2 all the time now

I would either go for a Spinner, or if you are happy to carry a spare 18350 battery, something like this is discreet and hefty: Caravela in 18350 mode with a Russian 91% on top. You could still use clearos with an eGO/510 adapter, but you will need to use 1.8ohm heads to get the best oomph from the mod. Spinner I would say!!

A happy medium might be a mech mod with a kick in 18500 mode. Still smaller than a vamo but better battery life and still relatively discreet.

Id use the 18350 in a mod that you can turn off. As for what goes on it ,with what you have id choose the protank. ego with a clearo is bound to break and make a mess at some point. Ive been looking for a 14500 mod to go with my gp spheroid for the same thing, nights out ect.

Or you could splash out and get yourself a shiny NEW Vision Spinner 2 - 1600mah VV with light changing charge indication too. £19.99 from Myepack

Thanks for the replies, I am leaning towards the 1600 Spinner as I think it would be better for outdoor use, as a matter of interest I charged up an1100 supposed Ego-T and went out for 2 hours and it is just about totally discharged now.

If it was me than due to costs (it won't hurt much if it gets damaged or stolen) i would choose:
Vision Spinner 2 Kanger Mini Aerotank (or wait for the new Kanger Mini Aerotank that also comes with adjustable airflow plus glass and steel tank, steel tank would be good for out and about)

Whats the difference between Mini Aerotank and Mini Protank - I do like the mini protank but the stainless steel tank sounds very good in case it gets knocked about
