mvp ??s

thanks mikey, q and mart.
ive had a look at my ipad plug and kindle and the ipad is 10 watt and the kindle is 5 watt and .85amps so it seems neither is suitable.
it is strange what "Q" states about 0.5amp, thats the first time ive read 0.5amp anywhere ive searched, everywhere else seems to state 1amp for the mvp.
it would make sense if they sold one either with it or as an extra.

i wasnt disputing what you wrote and thought you were reading it from the manual, its just odd that the thread i linked from ukvapers seemed only to talk about 5 watt 1amp.

As far as I understood it USB was standardised & using say a Ipad charger made no difference as device attached only drew the power required. I have regularly charged MVP, Evic & egos to name a few off Ipad charger with no problems ( no heat problem either).

So just did a search & its as clear as mud one site says one thing then another totally different, but this has been my understanding of usb

that was how i understood the ukvapers thread but mikeys reply sort of suggested this wasnt either correct or possible.
which was why i mentioned mobile phones, every man and his dog uses any charger that appears to work and you dont get phones blowing up quite as often as you would if it was that much of an issue.
im kinda wishing i hadnt started this now, the purchase was only gonna be on a whim, now its gone into full scale techno mode lol.
