It's a really complicated process winnietyson, you need to give the bottles a good shake and stick them in a cool dark cupboard and forget about them There are various debates about lids on/lids off, ultrasonic cleaners, etc, but the above method works 100% and all you need is some patience

Have just ordered some pretty made eliquid from joose juice and the email response said to steep for at least a week!!!! Never had to do this before... What do I have to do??? I bought 5 bottles of Joose Juice a few weeks ago for the first time and took their advice, so left them in the jiffy bag (with the tops on, lol) for a week, every day I gave them a good shake and a couple of gentle little squeezes to let the air in and out, a week later I noticed they had darkened in colour a bit more and had a nicer smell to them so decided to give 'em a test in my Protank mini 2 and ego battery. I found each of the flavours to taste what they were suppose to taste like, although not very strong in flavour, but they had a strong 'cardboardy' taste to all of them and each vape was rough on my throat, not very nice, almost put me off! So i've decided to sit them in a cupboard, safely away from accidental spills etc, with the tops off and every day have been shaking them well and air squeezing etc. So far they have been there for 5 days and have darkened a bit more and i've noticed the aroma of a couple of them have gotten stronger. I'm going to give them a try again in a few days to see if they are worthy. I'm new to vaping and to all this 'steeping' malarky and also have other freshly mades juices from other vendors steeping in the cupboard (with the tops off) but some are still in the bags as I don't have the room to steep them all. Some smell nice enough to vape but patience is the key here and whoever you buy from will normally advise on different timescales and what timescales apply for different types of juice. An example from a recent Steamgunk order I made (FYI these are the ones that smell really nice and have heard great things about! ) : Unless otherwise stated all our e-liquids are made to order, the date your liquid was made can be found on the bottle. Although perfectly fine to vape on arrival, many people find that steeping (leaving the bottle in a dark place with the lid off) for some time improves the flavour. As a guide light and fruity e-liquids are ready after a couple of days, tobaccos after around a week, and creamy custard, dessert type liquids a little longer.
