Why do I feel so self-conscious?

It keeps crashing here too, I've had more than a few double posts. I'm so tempted to tell the people at those stalls to get online and get it half price.

Out of curiosity I asked how much a replacement battery was and I was quoted £18! A friend of mine who now vapes, complains that it doesn't save her any money but she buys everything from VIP even though I've given her loads of links to better, cheaper vendors!

I still feel self conscious vaping in the street. However one day out shopping with my daughter we were chatting away and I accidentally walked in to Asda still vaping, no one batted an eyelid. I suddenly realised what I was doing and tried to hold my breath until the vapour dissipated, probably looked good on the CCTV, 'woman going purple in aisle 3'

Was sat in Sainsbury's car park this afternoon, replying to work emails and vaping away on my Caravela and Russian combo. Looked up and the chap next to me was using a Spinner and iClear 16 - we waved PVs at each other and carried on with a smile on our faces!
I don't vape much in public, but there again I was well trained and didn't smoke much in public either. Just very glad I'm not polluting the atmosphere and killing myself now

I still feel a bit self conscious too Captain. I find myself drawn to the secluded corners I used to smoke in on my breaks away from glaring and fake coughing crowds.

I did stand up for myself the other day when an snobby lady was fake coughing in my direction at the bus stop. I was standing far enough away to not be blowing out vapour at her and I just said "just so you know this is water vapour and not smoke!" She stopped coughing then and couldn't make eye contact...mission accomplished!

Maybe you could have been considerate and suggested she visit her GP, as we vapers all seem to have overcome the problem of Bronchial irritation.

You are lucky, the Asda here have banned it and the local council swimming pool and gym has a sign up saying No smoking or electronic cigarettes anywhere on this site. I got told off by the security guard for vapeing in my car, I didn't even have the windows down!

I won't vape in people's faces (though people say they don't mind) but I'll vape in the bus shelter - the worst I get is some queer looks (nowt new for me) and some junkie saying 'wart's in yer pipe lassie' and then wanting a puff on it.

Nobody hassles me vaping down the street and I try and always have vape cards on me to hand out

In fact I'm always handing out vape cards. Some folk appreciate it . Some don't . I just say I'm giving them a choice. Short life span or vaping

Oh yes I tried a couple of discrete wafts until I realised I was drawing attention to myself, I don't know if vaping is banned in our local Asda, I should imagine it is, my daughter works there which made it all the more embarrassing for her, I've never been dragged round a supermarket so fast...

took my vamo out for a walk the other day and gee the looks i got, they stopped and stared.
it kinda makes me feel as if iam a naughty boy.
oh iam bad i always vap in asda , although always a sneaky one , but pulled it out the other day and
vapped then realised a shop assistant was there , she smiled and said nothing.
As yet never been told not to vap anywhere.

Only ever had one pub (wetherspoons excluded) say not to use them. Had a full on discussion with the landlord who just needed a bit of education
