That's fantastic Phil, very well done. Please don't go smashing this one up before I get to see it.

Now imagine that with a dna chip Superb! DNA clone is on the slow boat, then i'll have a bash at the real thing. I thought I'd "scuff my knees" with the Vamo. I am working on the computer models of the dna30 and sx350, but next is the black rubber mod, followed by the self levitating mag-lev mod. I am still waiting on my heat sensitive vinyl- it's in production.

I've just managed to laser cut the shell of my vamo based walnut box after many hours of learning how to use the CAD software needed. This is the pieces straight out of the cutter. This is them assembled without glue. It needs a good clean up to get rid of the charred sap that bleeds from the wood while it is getting zapped. I am going to leave the burning on the joints as I like the contrast with the natural wood. Updates soon. Which CAD software are you using? and which CAM package?

Hi, I am using the free inkscape, I've got the full version of sketchup, but haven't really used it much. Inkscape creates the .dfx format needed for the lasercutter I use and text files needed for making wraps on the vinyl cutter.

I've ground some finger slots, and need s to sand down due to my baby soft hands. Started the first level of scarifation with a dermal-u-like, next will be a thorough chain whipping, wire brushing, and if I think necessary a BB gunning. I may laser etch a image on it once I've finished abusing it-ideas of images would be welcome, please don't suggest skulls- 10 people already have, skulls are for sheep. Just got the call, will be hitting it with a shotgun from both sides, can't wait!!!!
