Hey guys My birthday is coming up and think it's time I got myself a mechanical mod. I've been looking at mvapes and their mods. I've been eyeing up the steel and gold plated caravela mod, nemesis and stingray. Will be doing some reading up about what I can and cannot do with a mechanical mods before I use it but which one would you buy? Any other suggestions are welcomed Sorry I'm on my phone which makes it very hard to post links that work

Nemesis. I have only looked at bottom buttons, I don't like side buttons. It just seems to have the best design button and top connector. It's simple, easy to adjust and just plain works. Adjustable airflow, if needed. Easy to use lock ring. Other mech mods may look better but so many have unnecessary complications to the adjustment and button. For ease of use for a first mech can't go wrong with a nemi. Oh and don't get hung up on using magnets for the button, they don't add much ( if anything ) the spring works fine.

Go for a telescopic. That way you can choose what size you want it to be to suit the situation ie: dinky 18350 mode for when your in reach of a spare battery or 18650 for when you're out and about and dont want to carry a bag of batteries. Also this will give you the option to use a kick. I have a nemi and a telescopic 69 and I prefer the 69, no messing about changing tubes. Also the 69 gives you the option to have the button at either the top or the bottom hence the name.

Dang those look inexpensive. The mech mods are coming recommended for low low ohm coils, but how safe are they? That's my only concern about them, no voltage regulation or cutoff available.

Oh my so many options and things to consider before I buy. I tried a bottom fired mod last month... Interesting trying to find a way to hold it and get it to work but I'm sure what ever I buy I will get used to. for mechanical mods what kind of batteries do you use, different to a vamo is my assumption? You would think I would know by now by reading so much on the forum. One mod, bread of heaven and that gin liquid I think will be my birthday pressie to myself.it will be a slightly early one as once an idea is sorted in my head I can't wait more than a week one day I'll stop buying
