I have an inteli v2 charger from nitecore
Charges my other batterys fine but i just got my efest protected ( black and gold from vapeescape)18650's had them on charge for half hour and the charger is hot and smells like "hot/burning electronics" ? the cells themselfs were warm as if you had them held in your hand for a while should i be worried ?
This specific charger dose not have a UK plug and is fed via a shaving adapter if that makes any difference ? i never noticed the smell or heat before there off charge now untill i know where i stand

I have been using it for a while now and never came across any issues i just noticed it with the new efest bats i have to be brutal honest i thought it was wrong to supply a charger for uk with a usa plug and be told to use a shaver adapter pointers on a good charger cost no concern

lairey thanks, thats the exact same one i have though its the 2 bay one, with a usa/eu two pin prong Am i right in thinking i could replace the plug on the end with a suitable fuse ?? Edit Saying that for the sake of peace of mind i might just get a new one so i know its a real deal and not a clone? do they clone chargers ?

shaver adapter should not be a problem but if you are concerned cut off plug and wire a new plug on try charger again with your old batteries as i have known new batteries to be defective feel batteries after 10 mins of charge after 20 mins and after 30 mins switch off if concerned or if you are really worried you can send charger to me i think postage is 2 pound 80 i can takeitto work and test it out and if it is faulty (very unlikely) i may be able to repair it

But I do have the 4 port and it's not missed a beat - it's put to work every evening for 2 or 3 hours and has never once got even slightly warm
