You cannot trust anyone these days......I hope they just put it back when they realize that it is of no use to them....unless they vape and have a protank or vape themselves in general......cheeky rats!!!! The parcel was stolen on Wednesday, they've had plenty of time to put it back, but nope Doubt if they vape, not seen any neighbours vaping, let alone using protanks, which are around 50 euros a piece over here!! Probably just thrown away in the bin by now as Clivia has said

Haha very funny, we couldn't even get the Guardia Civil or the local Policia to go to a break-in at a Villa we were looking after where there were passports, cameras, jewellery, money + more stolen from holidaymakers a while back let alone get them to fingerprint residents & carry out forensic tests on a stupid post box Those poor holidaymakers had to make a personal all day visit to the Police Station during their holiday just to get one stupid report form filled in each for their insurance companies to state they had their goods stolen, and of course stamped god knows how many times (you know what the Spanish are like for stamping paperwork emmita). Not an ounce of interest in trying to catch the thieves - that would be too much like hard work for the Policia Several years ago we had a burglary at the office I used to work in, place smashed up and everything, it was terrible. We managed to get the Policia there after shouting & screaming at them to basically get off their ar**s, they came, looked at the place, lit up cigarettes, shrugged their shoulders and left - that was it

LOL toots, you know my comment was tongue in cheek. I know just what you mean. As long as the Police can look "cool" in their Mission Impossible sunglasses, then why bother to actually investigate any crime! Same in all of Spain I'm afraid! Unless of course they can catch you for a supposed speeding infringement, and fine you Euros 600!! Yes, that happened to a friend of mine!!

Yeah I know, and what about those 'on the spot' fines for not having the correct paperwork in the car!!! Around 600 euros if you pay later, but ONLY 300 euros if you pay 'on the spot', they'll even take you to a cash machine to draw out the money, and my guess as to where that money goes is straight into the Policia's own pocket crafty barstewards!!!

If you think Spain is bad, try reporting any problems in Crete. Now I know where all the civil servants get their training.........form after form after form just to get a "crime number"...Then they file the forms and do bugger all about it.
