My vapemail was stolen

I don't believe this. It appears we have a thief amongst us. Our postman apparently left a small package in my postbox on Wednesday (our postboxes are all located in one place within the main building) when I was out. It contained 7 x replacement glass tubes for my protank & aerotank from FT. I didn't know he had left anything in the postbox so when he mentioned it today I knew I had already checked the box previously and there was no package. I trust the postman completely, he's a lovely guy and he even offered to pay me the amount I've lost on this stolen package.

I just cannot believe that someone has put their hand in (or whatever) & pulled out this package from a locked postbox. These glass tubes would be of no use to anyone and they haven't even the sense to put the package back in my postbox even though these tubes would be no good to them. It beggars belief, never had anything like this happen before here.

Postman was gobsmacked too. Said he will never leave any more small packages in our postboxes. Poor guy, he felt so guilty for leaving it in the postbox. I told him it was only a few dollars so not to worry about it. It's a pain in the butt though simply because of the long awaited delivery times from FT - good job I only ordered them as backups for whenever I broke one of the tanks, it'll be sod's law I'll break one now. Only $6.55 but that's not the point is it

Look on the bright side toots, if there's a bunch of thieves about you can be sure the culprit has spread the word not to rob anything from box 76 as that woman only buys useless tat

Awww, that's soooo nice of you vigowomble thank you but I live in Tenerife so it's a bit far to send them. I'll just order them again with my next FT order, not desperate at the moment (touch wood).

It is annoying though coz I ordered them tubes with a whole load of other stuff and FT split the order as the tubes were out of stock for quite a while and they were holding up the big order, funny thing is the tubes were sent out the following day after the order was split, so if they hadn't split that order I would have got them inside the bigger parcel

Now how did you know my postbox was No 76 Actually you were close it's No: 7

Our complex block is a secured block, the main front doors are always kept locked and we have an intercom system so it's not nice to know that one of our neighbours is a thief. We've been in this place for almost 10 years and have always felt pretty safe, secure & always found our neighbours to be nice friendly people. All I can think is it must be someone new who has moved in recently.
