I did that to mine, then realised that the locking ring doesn't have to go tight up or down, just enough to stop or allow the button to fire

I've got two clones. I love them, they are my favourite mods by far.

I'd buy a real one if I had cash to spare, but I can't begin to fathom how I'd explain to mrs ionian why, with a baby on the way, I'd just spent £110 on another metal tube that is exactly the same as two of the other metal tubes that I own already that cost £15 each. If someone can come up with a solution, my debit card is primed.
