Yea i stripped it bare even the little screw in the 510 its all laid out on kitchen towels in the heating cupboard to dry

As promised my report back

5am up coffe,coil box out build 1.5ohm coil with .25 kanthal re build and fit coil and cotton wick to taifun.
Then mixed up a fresh bottle of my juice mix exactly as the print out from the last bottle
Fresh 18650 off charge fill up taifun pre load wick leave to "soak/wick for 5mins"

BOOOM no funny taste just pristine absinthe/menthol just like the XI tank! .

However im not counting my eggs just yet this is a fresh bottle of juice the one i had before was about five days steeped this one is fresh so we`l see
But when i re coiled with the old bottle of juice it got the funny taste instantly so im hoping i was indeed just the gunk inside the tank

Well thats been a good 6 hours use and not once have i tasted that funny taste so i think its safe to say its cured yay!
