Must admit I have a kayfun 3.1 es clone and taifun gt both from fast tech first time I set up the taifun worked straight away. The kayfun took me two attempts. But prefer the vapour and flavour of the taifun so much so I ordered another gt and a gs to try out. Hope that answers your question and for £12 from ft it's a bargain

Totally blown away with Kernow, ordered yesterday 10AM and it was at home waiting for me today. Anyhow, I got to wicking it using the awesome Greigster 's All Coil Buddy that also arrived today; made a simple (!) 5 ring coil of .32 kanthal, slotted it in with no hassle, less compared to the Kayfun in honesty. Filled and prepared to vape and it was raining juice~ not hallelujah, but bloody hell my juice is everywhere! Turns out I'd pushed the coil bed all the way down, so there was a gap between the vapor tube and the bed, juice was flowing like it was trying to escape a warzone. So, a little later, got the Taifun properly set up i.e. the tube was actually *inside* the coil bed. The mini coil came out at 0.8 gnomes resistance, so it went onto the iTaste MVP (which is more compliant to subohm coils than my other electronic mods). Vape quality is pretty good at 3.5V, my stock 50/50 PG/VG baccy juice giving decent clouds and throat hit is good enough to make me cough if the inhale is a biggy.

So thumbs up for it, not blown away compared to a Kayfun just yet, but it's an impressive device.

Just got my Taifun GT set up correctly and I have to say I think it's awesome. I also have a Kayfun lite which I realy like but now I have the GT working nicely I think it's fantastic the only problem is I just can't put it down it tastes so good. Just ordered 2 more as backups (clones)

Kayfun is definitely better than the taifun imo, easy to set up and superb flavour as well as a decent size. Only time the kayfun ever leaks or gurgles is because it has an air leak. Like you I also knocked my tank squint.

The taifun is also pretty easy to set up but I really don't get as good a flavour out of it and it's bloody huge.

Vapour production is about the same, I use the same ohms coil and wick material in both.

I'd grab one second hand if the chance arrives just for the hell of it but I wouldn't rate it over the kayfun if there was a choice between them.
