MVP or SVD with a Nautilus or Aerotank Mega would be my recommendation.

If you get an MVP, that's all you need to get as it doesn't need separate batteries and charger (it comes with a USB charging cable) However, it is quite limiting as once the internal battery starts to wear out, you need to replace the entire thing. My recommendation would be a Zmax Full kit, complete with charger and 2 different sized batteries. It's telescopic, you you can use any size 18xxx battery in it and the charger and batteries will be interchangeable with future mod purchases As for on top, either an Aspire Nautilus or a Kanger Aerotank Mega

I think the old style Kanger heads will fit the Aerotank. If you do start recoiling and want some old heads to use I have several which I don't use. I can send them to you if you want some to practice on.

For faff free vaping and great flavour especially if you like sweet/custard type flavours have a look at the SMOK DCT setup I have a few of these tanks and they are fantastic for me....easily change the heads and fab flavor from them .....my fave tanks by far

I am wondering if there is an easy way to remove the coating that is on the Evod battery & tanks because they have peeled quite badly and they would look a lot nicer without. What do you all think of the VTR? It's more expensive but the SVD, Vamo V5 and Zmax all looked really long to me. I need something more compact and that will fit in my pocket. I prefer it over the MVP just because as someone said, once the battery has gone in the MVP it's dead. Also I prefer where the tank sits on the VTR. Getting the VTR, some batteries, a charger, aerotank and a few heads I can rewick should last me a fair while.

The VTR is bigger than the MVP. I've not got one, but as it's 18650, it's pretty heavy. You are also restricted on attie size, unless you use an extension that makes it look like an MVP on steroids with the attie on top. The Zmax is telescopic, so can be used in 18350 mode which will fit nicely in a pocket, although battery life of an 18350 is much less than an 18650, but you can also go midway between the 2 with an 18500. That's why I love the Zmax so much, it's just so versatile

So many votes for the MVP I would have thought a better upgrade would be something like the Vamo (just got the V5 myself) and a couple of good batteries that way you're always using the same device, one battery for vaping while the other charges. What's he/she going to use when they run out of charge? I suppose they could buy two MVP's but it's not exactly the cheapest solution. Clearomisers... great advice from those who said stay away from rebuildables you'll be straying from an easy vaping experience into a potentially nightmarish one if you don't get on with RBA's. Aerotank is a great choice but the Aerotank Mega has just come out and if reviews are to be believed it's a whole lot better for just a little extra expense. Best of luck whatever your choices

Best of luck whatever your choices Yep, I won't get a re-buildable, I am still not really sure what they are. I can't make up my mind! I was choosing which colour MVP I wanted earlier and now it's at the bottom of my list. I've been on youtube all evening, just watching reviews. More people on here say the Aerotank but I've seen a lot of people on YT saying Nautilus... just makes my decision harder. But if I want a nautilus it won't fit in the VTR so I'm back onto choosing a battery... Now I will have a look at the Aerotank Mega, how is it better than the regular one?

General opinion seems to be the Nautilus is better than the Aerotank. Now it seems the Aerotank Mega is better than the Nautilus. Better design, upgraded coils and better airflow. If you're interested in Aerotank there's no reason at all not to get the mega it's just 'better'. Battery wise if you don't like the look of the MVP and you hinted earlier you're unsure there's a good chance it's not for you. I'd suggest Vamo or Smoktech SID. The SVD I've never seen but apparently it's very big.
