Des, I think the protank 2 looks a bit top heavy on an ego, but that's just me. I'd also be nervous of the ego's with the 510 thread after my experience with the iClear. Seems it's not just me, but it might be just the cheaper egos that suffer. JimmyJ, whatever you get, think about a spare. My rec would be : Mini Protank 2EvodSpare coilsThe coils are 5 for £6 and fit both. That little lot will cost you less than £20 delivered, give you a decent vape and last you weeks/months. You can always splash out later in the search for the perfect vape and relegate them to gardening duty. But don't let me put you off, it's just my idea of a minimum spec. Chris

Think i am going to buy that lot, thanks.
What sort of ohm coils are better for higher voltage batteries, lower or higher?

Depends on your own taste JimmyJ, but if you order a spare of each resistance (check what heads come with your stuff) then you can clean them and reuse for a few times. Once you get settled on decent kit, and are confident "Swooshing" your liquid (it keeps your wicks primed) then you'll get to the fun bit, trying different Flavours!

Chris Bought all the bits you said. Got them yesterday. I love the protank. Works well on all my batteries. Thanks. Bought a few of each of the different coils. So will experiment. Gave a load of my old stuff to a mate and he seems happy.

Nice one, JimmyJI remember thinking how nice the Mini PT2 was when it arrived. Although I was working from a low base. The evod should be pretty much the same vape. Makes a good spare/chuck about. Couple of tips (I'm sure you'd work them out for yourself sooner or later) : I keep a bit of wire handy to unblock the air holes in the base. Some, it seems, deliberately block one or more off but I like more air and I seem to block them up all to easily. See how you go on that one. At the first sign of burnt taste or slight darkening of the juice, I clean and dry burn the coils. Usually after a few fills. I've only got one u/s coil after 3+ months. Except it isn't u/s ... see Super-Shiny's excellent microcoil + cotton guide. Chris
