I have a newish eGo-C Twist, bought from Fasttech.

The threads refuse to allow me to charge it.

I have tried various adaptors without success.

Wondering if I could get it to comply if I

wound some cotton....ignore pun...around the threads ?

Sounds like the pin is pushed in on the ego, assuming the charger works on other batteries.

Your suggestion to wrap cotton sounds like it is the threads that have gone so that you can't screw it into the charger securely.

I'd try raising the centre pin as VapingBad has suggested, if that doesn't work then for safety's sake I'd leave well alone joy.

If it screws on joy but won't charge then it's a center pin problem, providing the charger is ok, if it won't screw on and the threads are fubared, then time for a new battery.

is it actually not screwing into the charger? i had a cheap ego from china where the threads were plated silver which wore away afte couple weeks so couldnt screw on charger.....if you got ego to 510 adapter this can help www.fasttech.com/product/1284600-510-to-ego-adapter-convertor-for-e-cigarette

Yes that's the problem Chris. Don't want to bin it cause it's such a nice color  lol

Yes that's the problem Chris. Don't want to bin it cause it's such a nice color  lol

If the threads have gone and you can't screw it into the charger safely and securely, then it's time for the bin joy.

No matter how nice the colour may be, it's not worth taking the risk surely?

joy I got a couple of those twists, the 510 threads are shockingly poor.... maybe ronaldo could swap the ego/510 top on it?

that is a possibility but could not garantee i have fixed a few this way but some times the wire in the head is just to weak to allow it but if you have some ego/510 heads you could post them to me what have you got to lose

I think they are a bit hit and miss, the first ones I bought were terrible and the threads only lasted a few weeks. However the last 3 I have bought seem very good and have not had a problem with the threading at all. Also I purchased a couple of spinners and the threads so far on them seem fine as well www.fasttech.com/products/1637502

I do have a couple of old 650mAh egos that could be used to donate to keep the twists going... will pm you later ronaldo

Like many others we need the elusive 510 F to eGo F adapter.
After a bit of searcing, I found a company in the US selling them but at the princely sum of $4.99.
Might be worth a bulk buy/group buy to mitigate the delivery charge?

Eventually had to make my own.

I was looking at these earlier in the year, at LJ e-smokes (IIRC), last time I checked they'd sold out

they were going to charge around $18 flat-rate postage to uk... yours looks good, does it have the ego threads around the 510 part (for evods and the like).... you wanna sell a couple? ? ?
