Don't know if that doctor is legit or not, but wouldn't it be a bit arrogant on our part to think we're the only living beings in the universe? It's a big place. We're here and there's every real chance there's life elsewhere.

We've barely scratched the surface in our discovery, but just because we haven't found it yet, doesn't mean they don't exist.

Dr. Greer's conclusions have been questioned a lot - I know - however what I thought was interesting that nobody at this hearing was laughing and I also believe that planet earth is not the only place in the universe inhabited by living physical creatures - whether contact has been made or not

oh and I believed that before I started vaping - so it's not too much vanilla custard

I think some of my neighbours are from another planet sometimes. This might explain it.

Whether we believe or not, if "intelligent" life inhabits other planets, then the one thing that will connect them to us is the desire to explore as far as their technology will allow them to.
That is the one trait that connects us to all other living creatures and it will also connect us to other communities.

Our contributions to exploring outer space are primitive compared to what some of us believe other life forms from other planets are doing, but, as an eminent scientist once said, if we found a new species of animal here on earth, the first thing we would do is to observe it in its natural surroundings.
We would not approach it and say, "Take me to your leader".

If we are being "observed" by the populations of other planets, so what?
