Hello everyone, first off.. I'm new to this site.. And just wanna say Hi! and thanks for having me xD
Now, to business.. I'm VERY new to vaping (16 days and counting!) And i'm having so much trouble with ejuice.. It's making me want to go back to smoking as I just can't seem to get it right.. I've got a few cheap brands that I think are vile..Apart from the strawberry one (All from my local market, ibaccy?)
So i decided to bite the bullet.. Order online! I went to joose juice & Mt baker vapor.. All smelled okayish! But no wait.. I have to steep these suckers..
So what now? Smoke the vile cheap/okay strawberry market stuff or get something better.. (for the 1/2 weeks steep time..)
In comes Mrs Lords.. Pre-steep'd heaven!! (From reviews..) This stuff is just as bad!! From all the video's/comment's i've seen everyone talks so highly of this company.. And with a price tag of £8.00 for 15ml, this is a high end e juice and normally I wouldn't spend so much..
Am I doing something wrong here? Is it me? My set up? I feel REALLY angry at this company.. More so than I think I should.. (I don't want this to be seen as a hate thread as it's really not meant to be..) Just feel knocked back when trying to make the healthy choice of quitting a 10 year habit.. I bet they won't let me return it.. So what do I do!?
Sorry for the mini rant.. I'll go back to my corner and breath.. >.>

First, we have all been there.
Second, E juices are so individual - in three months I have found 3 I actually like to vape, and only one I do on a consistent basis.
Third, well done for putting your location on your profile. We have regular meet ups in york (we go to the pub and vape once a month) if you want to try some flavours just pop down some time.

Alternatively I'm sure if you popped down to see Matt Gluggles he would have something you would like - right off the shelf.

Oh! I had no idea! Thanks I will do at some point.
So do you think it would be best to just put it away and hope it may turn okay in time? Or just bin and move on?

Don't bin it, I don't know much about them but someone will be along who does.
You can always swap it for something either on the board here, or down the pub.
It's definitely worth more than an empty fag packet! What kit you using by the way?

Very true! It's a Kanger Evod kit.. But I am waiting for the pro mini tank to come in the post. For a newb I think it's okay.. Some of the mod's look a bit intimidating for me.. I did start with a CE4 but was gotten from the market and died in a few days.. Not having much luck!!

Sounds like you are doing just fine to me. You will get there, with a single tank you might be tasting the old juice, that £8 might not be wasted!

Sometimes new atomisers don't taste right for a while, used to hate changing mine. Chrissie should this be in new members for the proper welcome wagon? catx just stick around here, the people are great and will sort you out in no time.

Hi catx welcome to the weird, occasionally infuriating world of vaping! You mention you only gave up tobacco recently. For most of us, there was a transition period were our tastebuds went a bit haywire. They calm down eventually but for a while after quitting, stuff tastes weird. I like Mrs Lords but I think they're quite subtle flavours (apart from druide!). Maybe something more robust would suit you at the mo. You mention fruity things appealing, might I recommend www.scopesejuice.co.uk/. They have a limited range, all fruit based, and all terrific.

Hi catx and from me. I recently bought some Mount Vapor juices and they needed a good steep, i would say 2 weeks minimum but admittedly some are slighly rank, my fave (so far) of the 5 i bought was Moo Juice (strawberries & cream type) very nice and flavoursome. Cotton Candy was awful and Banana Cream pie tasted mostly of sweet pie with a bit of banana, still have 2 steeping, Vanilla Custard and Caramel Coffee. So far in my short vaping journey I have found that most juices need at least 2 weeeks steeping time, but I like dessert and sugary sweet types of juice and they need that amount of time, but I hear fruit flavour juices can be vaped after a week and some can be vaped straight away or with a minimum of a couple of days. Also to add that, except in some cases, most juices bought online are made to order and do not come pre-steeped. Joose Juice are made to order so depending on what type of juice you buy from them will need a good steep for sure. Mini Protank is a good 'un, i love em! And you can recoil the heads too!

Thanks for the info everyone! I'll check everything out! Hopefully i'll find a flavor that I like..
How long can it take for taste buds to return to normal? Or i'm guess, it's different for everyone?
Oh Moo juice! I have that one!! It's steeping though.. I have high hopes for that little bad boy!
The flavor I got was Victoria Sandwich.. I taste the cake and cream.. but that's about it.. and it's just weird.. I can't put my finger on it..
