what wire do i have :(

the lable on the spool is all wet and i dont have a ohm checker or a mod that can check resistance, on the spool all i can make out is 0.3a and 25m any one got a idea what wire this is sorry that i dont have more details

ok thankyou one more thing 7 wraps on a 2mm drill bit would give me roughly what ohms

i really need to get a ohm checker but my ft one decided to break on me today

I ran that through a calculator
Assuming it's 0.3mm Kanthal A1 (AWG 29).
7 wraps around 2mm should result in 1.3 ohms + legs, so maybe 1.5 ohms installed.

so I am correct with : the thicker the wire the more wraps you need to get the same ohm ?

Thinner the wire for high ohms using less wraps
Thicker the wire for low ohms using more wraps

Just think that the thinner the wire the harder it is to squeeze the electrickery through therefore more resistance!

DITTO   I dont think my brain is ready to absorb more vape info? I'm still a bit dodgy on mixing percentages and batteries for mods but least i'm getting there! wire wick and resistance seem beyond me still. Hopefully i'll get a eureka moment one day................  ???
