Hi all. I'm sucking on one of my cheap egos this morning as I can not get my spinner to work ! I think it has died. I put it on charge last night. This morning I came to use it as all I got when I pressed the button was that the light flashed lots of times.the same as what happens when the battery has no charge in in. I thought oh no! Anyway I plugged it into a charger and the light on the charger turned green within about 2 mins. The red light turning to green as you all know means the battery is fully changed. So I tried the battery again and I got the same thing I pressed the button and it just flashed lots of times. I have tried different cleros on it. I have tried different charger s and I just get the same
Has it died? Can anyone offer any help ?

Just check that the centre pin hasn't become depressed. Tease it up with a cocktail stick or similar, after switching the battery off, of course! The battery might be flashing at you to warn of a short.

I think it's dead mate. And nothing that I can do will sort it. Somewhere in side there must be some sort of short going on. Don't k now why it's just started. I've not dropped it or anything. Maybe some.juice has got inside ? Who knows. I tell you what this vapeing is a right faff When it's going it's great and loads better than stinky. But when thing go wrong it's a right game

But when thing go wrong it's a right game it can feel like that at times, but think of it as a learning curve, and once you're up on common issues, you'll be able to spot them, prevent them and deal with them better now, if the spinner is still under warranty, contact the vendor sharpish

Apart from checking that your charger isn't the problem, then yes, it could well be dead, halight. I have one here that did the same, I checked everything, cleaned it & left it stood on the connection end, to see if some liquid had got in (it's still stood that way after months lol) sadly, still nothing but the lights flashing.

I have had this happen many times. 9/10 - It's run out of power and the charger is broken, not the eGo/Spinner.
I have 3 chargers that do this. They should be in the bin.... to stop me panicking every time I do this.
(It could be dead, but not always....)

One more thing to try - clean the contacts on the charger and ease the centre pin up on that as well

I have three chargers. All do the same with it. Plug it in and the red light turns green. All three charges are charging the ego. I've had a. Couple of. Cheap egos stop on me they have just died. But that's what you get when your only paying a few ponds for them . But I did think the spinner. Being a branded make would last longer. I had it of a market stall don't have a receipt for it. I've checked all the markings on it and it seems real. I don't think it's a fact.
I shall be talking to the vendor. But I don't fan y my Chances with them. We shall see.

You say that your charger's working - have you tried it with another eGo battery. Just because the lights are flashing doesn't necessarily mean that it's working Might be worth picking up a good branded charger ( zeldamum are doing Kangertech ones at a great price at the moment!) just to make sure, should only cost a fiver. Moral of this story - you get what you pay for. Not that that helps you one iota, but it's true in 99% of cases.

Good point about getting a branded one. I will think about u t getting one.
