Think i will go down the route of Howdens, looks very nice and after reading more about them their prices seem pretty good aswell Could I just add that I have no connection with this company. I just think they provide very good value.

if you know someone with an account at howdens get them to order the kitchen for you as they will pay 60% less than if you was to order it as they would rather deal with trade and not joe public.

I didn't get one ( health issues ) but they are very nice, and solid. All I will say is get it done as soon as you move in , the mess caused is unreal, especially if they start bashing tiles off, and ripping floors up. The mess will take over the house ( cement dust ), and I know you like to be clean, so thought I would point this out.

Friends of mine took themselves to B&Q and talked units with them, had a plan drawn up.
They then found a local fitter who went with them to Howdens and fitted according to the plans they had..

That's my plan, rip everything out and make sure all plumbing/wiring is in top condition then get the walls plastered and the floor fitted (plumbing/wiring and floor i will do myself but will get someone in for the plastering)....once done then the fitters can start the fitting for the kitchen. It's what i done in my previous home, first is the kitchen then the bathroom/toilet....all other rooms are pretty easy and kinda mess free.

You wouldn't want to see my kitchen, its old and decrepid, or is that me Could have had a free kitchen, well it aint free but I still have to pay service charge increase anyhow but couldn't have it. My bathroom on the other hand, well it cost an arm and a leg, caused more mess than you could ever imagine but it's done.

Come to think of it i will probably fit the kitchen myself as i am a bit of a dab hand with DIY but i will get someone in for the worktop as they have the tools for it, will also get someone in to fit a new bath but i will do the toilet and sink. Worktops Baths Plastering Is no no's for me
