So, I have about 300ml of T-Juice Red Astaire Concentrate stockpiled.
My question is this: Some of the concentrate is about 4 months old so when I mix it does it still need steeping?
Opinions please.

Yes - steeping is the blending together of all 3 elements in juice: nic, base & flavouring. Just because the concentrate is 'mature' doesn't mean the finished product will be.

Completely agree with Jen, BUT.... RA doesn't need much steeping whether the concentrate is mature or not, I find it good to go after a couple of days DiscoDes

Different concentrates and different mixes require differing steeping times as we all know. At the far end of the spectrum are probably the custards which benefit from weeks if not months of steeping. At the other end of the spectrum is Red Astaire which is good to go after - oh - a cuppa?
I'm normally stamping my feet telling people to be patient and that none of the speeding-up malarkey (ultrasonics etc) works. But, with RA, it really is good to go almost as soon as it's mixed.

OneDayYes, this is what I've found, I generally mix 2 x 35ml bottles (not a typo) of RA one lasts about a week then I go on to the next, I don't really find much difference in the two, but then again I don't do subtle so I just thought I'd ask on here as I was thinking the flavours will have been well mixed, obviously not the base and PG/VG but they should make little difference to the taste?

My current bottle of RA concentrate has a use-by date of 08/15. I certainly wouldn't expect the taste to change within that period
