strange reaction

I have now noticed that more than a few times - I let smoking friends or colleagues try my vaping gear - generally the protank ( what else is new ) - now some of them, and some of which are heavy smokers coughed a lot with a 'OMG - that is strong' - more coughing to be followed - and I am vaping now on 12mg

however others really like it and have no problems 

what hubby and I observed : those who smoke, like we used to smoke - having the smoke first in the mouth before inhaling it - are fine with vaping - those , who inhale directly into the lungs cough and cough 

has anybody else observed something like that

Yes , my mother who has smoked for over 40 years , choked and said "good grief that is strong" when she inhaled down her lungs

I just said that to be deliberately provocative!! You are absolutely right, of course; and even at really low nic strengths, some smokers who try my RA at 8mg find it makes them cough. I think we have also built up some tolerance to the VG and PG as well, which they aren't used to, as well as the different method of inhalation.

I am lucky enough not to be allergic to either pg or vg

when I tried the first time a 'real' vape of a nice colleague - not that crappy cigalike stuff , which is basically hot air - I liked it straight away

yes, my mum won't entertain quitting via ecigs as she chokes her guts out when she'd tried mine.

I did try and explain the 'inhale into mouth, then into lungs' which comes natural to us all now - but I suspect it's a learnt skill!

davetherayon I worked (also) in sales - I should have known better - never ever ask a customer a question, they can answer with yes or no
