the answer to broken evic threading

Received this through the post today after being in touch with joyetech and asking if there was anything that could be done about the threading.  They sent it foc. Apparently order it from here and the postage would be $47 item cost $5.99. Joyetech stockists need to be ordering these for sale in the uk. I actually prefer my evic with it on, its a very well made bit of kit. Screw it on and away you go, no more freewheeling.

What are the chances of these becoming available I wonder?

It would (unsurprisingly) convince me to buy another control head.

I asked about uk distribution they say they are a specialist item and need to be ordered by uk stockists. Perhaps they might if they are aware of them. Either that or someone could organise a group buy.

Its saying international shipping is $16 but doesn't offer Europe or uk as an option. I'll msg them?

Peter,

The US site can't deliver to UK as that region has it's own exclusive. We wanted to resolve your issue expeditiously so we made an exception. I'm sure if there is interest they would be more than happy to carry this item.

Moral of the story, try to get joyetech uk to stock it. Have already msged them to see if they will......

didn't joyetech have an exclusive uk deal with TW or ukecigstore, one of the bigger retailers, or is that now out-of-date info?

Yes with TW/TECC, According to the main joyetech website ukecigstore is a copycat seller.

I am going to be watching this with great interest. I have a evic lying in the vape drawer with broken threads and would certainly be interested in this adaptor but not interested in paying that for postage!!!!!!!!
I miss my evic an fancy tube, as since my v3 vamo developed a case of dicky button I am having to use my zmax whilst out an about an at work which means its getting scratched and will probably end up on a quarry floor somewhere :-(

kinda put me off ever buying one
they know there is enough of a problem to warrant them making a bit to fix said prob
why not change the way they make it
and as its a known fault send it free to anyone whom has purchased an evic and had this prob(on supply of receipt sowing an age of less than 6 month)and has reported the problem
is it just me or is that just wrong
