I have eight Kanger coils (heads) which have been "cleaned" more times than my dentures. I have read quite a bit on re-coiling, but I think I'd be better off building the next space shuttle. Wicking, dry burning, ohms ... Therefore, if there are any coilers with spare time who would be willing to re-coil my heads, I would very much appreciate it.

Jelly bean I have always shied away from recoiling..however yesterday I did my first one. It really wasn't as difficult as I imagined at all. Just read super shiny's excellent tutorial on it. I also watched it being done on you tube. Try it, you may be surprised what you actually can do.

What setup do you want in them jellybean? Normal coil and silica or microcoil and cotton? Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

Besides, it may be better to experience a re-coil from an expert and and see what the difference is first

whats the diffrence between a normal coil and a microcoil ? Normal coils have a small gap between the wraps, and are usually built around a silica wick, whereas a microcoil is built with the wraps intentionally touching, and is flamed to soften the wire after building, then squeezed together with tweezers so that the wraps all touch. This results in a much stronger coil which can be wicked with cotton wool, and the wick itself can be reused unlike a normal coil. With care, a microcoil can last well over a month before requiring a rebuild. Microcoils are recommended for RBAs (ReBuildable Atomisers) and can also be used in Protank heads, giving a far superior vape. HTH

Roscopecotrain i was erring on the side of caution! I also have coils that are 3 months old, and I think they are past their best, but for a few pence and 5 minutes I reckon that's a good investment
