Hello, it's been quite some time since i've been here, having a son and getting a promotion at work left me with no time for anything.
Anyway, I thought i'd see if I'd missed anything big in the last 8 months or so.
I think after a year of use, my vamo is on it's way out so I've decided to order an SVD from fasttech, as i fancy a change and the price is really good. Is this a good idea?
Also I'm contemplating purchasing an Aspire Nautilus (not from fasttech). Got an aerotank recently and although I am really impressed by the performance, I don't think much of the taste. How do the 2 compare?

Welcome back dannyw14 . . . good to hear RL is treating you well. The Nautilus gets really good feedback, although I haven't got one, as I've way too much stuff as it is.

dannyw14Lots of people are having problems with the button on the SVD, so I'd get it from the UK if you have your heart set on one as it will be easier to return. Just Google "SVD button" and you'll see what I mean.

I've just been looking at the aerotank mega as well and it's much nicer looking than the nautilus so i'm hoping it's better.
My collection seems to have turned into the main 2 things i use and then a box of parts and bits.

Oh I'll have a look for the button problem, what would be a better option for the price?

It's no secret that I like the Sigelei Zmax V3, they are fabulous mods with great build quality and you can use different size batteries without having to carry extra tubes as it's telescopic. At £25 a absolute steal HERE

I think what I'll do is risk the SVD as i prefer the look of it, and then if i do have problems, send it back and get a zmax. On a side note, how long should 18650 batteries last? I vape about 2ml a day at 7 watts and I've had 4 batteries for about a year.

dannyw14 - do you mean what is the lifespan of a battery, or how long does one last between charges? An average battery should take about 2-300 charges before the capacity starts to wane. Once this happens, probably best to recycle them and buy new ones. With your vaping (2ml at about 7w) you should easily get 36 hours from one battery. If not, then see above!!

I believe so long as the batteries don't get too warm when charging or using you should be able to use them to death, or until you notice a drop in charge life. I'm tending towards a 6 month cycle personally.
