I think it may be wicking due to excessive chugging too quickly! Long slow draws, and give the coil chance to reabsorb juice before hitting it again might help. It seems strange that with a fresh battery and a new head you are getting these problems where others of us are fine. With respect, I wonder if you are sucking too much and drying out the wick? I seem to remember that there was a similar case like this quite a few months ago, and slowing down drastically on the suckage and allowing the coil to vapourise in it's own time did the trick - can anyone else remember this?

I vape dessert type juices quite alot, mainly custards smithyjules I'm using ego batteries and a Spinner 2 with Mini Protank 2's (microcoil & cotton wool set up) and a Mini Protank 3 at the moment while I wait for my Vamo v5 from Focal (still ) I have a iClear 30s and Cool Fire 1 but find top coil clearos a little too warm. When I vape I do slow mouth to lung inhalations instead of straight to lungs as I find straight to lungs give a more harsh burnt yucky taste.

I got one dry hit at work yesterday lunch time then all was fine again until the evening, I got a couple of dry hits, put the device down for 5 mins then tried again and got dry hits straight away!

Good point csmith10!! Can you try the same juice in a different type of tank altogether just to eliminate the current tank from the equation?

How about diluting your thicker eliquid down a smidge with either some boiled/cooled water or a drop of vodka csmith10? Not enough to dilute the flavour greatly, but enough to make it a little less gloopy. Could be worth a try.
