I'm just amazed that so many folks still post on the TW forum. They delete anything at all that they don't like & ban members just for even mildly speaking their minds >

Dunno about the older members but in my case, when I started vaping, I was unaware of other vendors, just TW, I bought all my first supplies from them, needed advice so joined the forum, then I noticed in peoples post (vendor censored) so it got me thinking, I then looked around, found this site and the suppliers on here, as this is such an open forum, my understanding of vaping, products available and new names (everything with TW) is named under their names, all opened my eyes, once I new TW were going to not use DV anymore I went on the forum to let a bloke know that the supplies would be available elsewhere, in his reply to me he quoted my pm back and that is how I know Liberty Flights had been removed and (vendor censored) was in it's place. Like I said I was shocked and did it like this- Li Ber Ty Fl Ig Ts Which I feel is really childish, all I wanted to do was let this guy know his favourite flavour was still going to be available to him.

Wow . . . I can understand to an extent, the moderating of the forum, any Vendor's forum for that matter . . . if I'd invested a shed load of cash in a company & it's products . . . the last thing I'd be doing is promoting another Supplier's wares and business.
PM's are somewhat different, I'd imagine that their forum software is set up to recognise business rivals names and automatically deletes them . . . as opposed to a bod employed to physically check private mail.
Supplier's forums have never appealed to me, they're always going to be heavily biased.

Vendors' forums are bound to be biased and I've no problem with that at all. TW have offered me good service and products in the past and, therefore, I can't knock them - they offer a price and it's up to the customer whether or not to accept that price. We are lucky here to have so many terrific suppliers but, as a forum, we have no affiliation to any one of them, therefore they 'live or die' by the quality of goods and service they provide. Fox

They even have your pm's moderated, I sent a guy a pm saying where he could get an alternative and the vendors name was replaced with (vendor prohibited) So I then sent it in code. I feel it terrible to be such a 'closed' outfit, the product in question is double the price at TW I had almost exactly the same... You had newbies on there asking questions and if you even recommended something that TW DID NOT STOCK your messages were deleted. I emailed the moderators a couple of times to ask why my posts were removed and they said it was because I could not mention other suppliers even if it was for something they did not do! Not user friendly IMHO >

Wow, I seem to have opened a whole can of worms here!
From my POV, if I can get stuff off their site cheap then I don't mind, have bought some items from them in sales before, but I usually buy elsewhere. I have no axe to grind either way but good to hear others POV. What is good about TW is that they're getting the word out there and I like the idea of having lounges etc around the country (which I guess is their aim) - I'd be happy to go into one and sample their juices at the very least.
With regards the forum it's very limited in scope and dreadfully biased because of the censorship and frankly unless you're TW obsessed and don't mind paying extra for packaging on products you can get elsewhere cheaper not worth using IMHO. Censoring PMs is well out of order IMHO!

I feel the same as you, if I get a good product and service that is what counts, they have always deliver to me next day and when an item was not in my order they got it straight out, no probs, packaging is always great as well. Yes they do a loy for promoting as well, so fair play to them. But I like it here now and it is where I am staying

But I like it here now and it is where I am staying Yup, waaay better forum here! Took a look at the TW site and the up and down prices are pretty annoying TBH and the best stuff is sold out anyway so I think I'll give it a miss. Spent some dosh on the new Challenger 5ml Tank System from Safercigs and some supplies (on weekend discount) from Jason at Vape Escape instead - I'm happy Quite fancy one of the Mikropipe mods too!

Just had a play on the new YOYO and have to say that I'm really impressed with the concept. Obviously, you have to have a huge mark up on the prices to be able to do something like that. From a tech point of view though, it is a clever concept. Snagged a few bargains while I was playing

The moderated words are just a word filter. They tell the program what words they won't allow and tell it what to replace them with. I doubt they can read your PM's but a word filter is easy to set up and requires little maintenance. One forum that I admin on has it set up to remove swearing as we have minors on the forum. Sometimes it's quite funny... a bored Admin can swap out words such as 'the' and replace them with randon stuff that doesn't even make sense! Although of course, I've never done that... Sean

I bought my very first e-cig from Pillbox ( TW's Jason) over 3 years ago when he very first started selling e-cigs on ebay. back then, I recommended him to so many people in my old eBay e-cig group & on any eBay community boards. However, there are some old isues that I find it hard to forgive Mr (Totally Wicked) Cropper for . Starting with the way he treated one of his earliest customers - a lovely member of the All About E-cigarettes ebay group. He called them a liar when they let him know that the the starter kit they ordered plus 50 prefilled cartridges (back then juice wasn't available & 50 prefilled carts cost £39) was missing the 50 carts - even though they had proof that the postage weight couldn't have included the 50 carts Fast forward several months later & the slanging matches he got into with unhappy customers on his ECF TW sub-forum (all those threads now deleted). Then the final straw for me was the way he dealt with our Sean (Pinhead) - I think Sean still most likely holds the record for the quickest ban on any forum And his crime? just pointing out that an earlier Yo-yo sale ended a couple of days earlier than sated in emails to everyone on TW's mailing list.

I've had a few posts deleted on there as well. There was one thread asking what everyones worst juice was that they had tried. I had only just signed up and my post was deleted because I had mentioned Mary Jane flavour. It was actually my second post on there. My first post was an introduction and a story about how I started vaping. I happened to mention that my first kit was a Gamucci. That got the post moved to the other vendors section. No message to me about it or anything. I just thought it had been deleted. I used to spend quite a bit on there. Mainly because of their old Titan RY4.
