Looking a Google Earth there seems to be a small jetty by the bottom of the middle show field, if you want to get permission from the show ground I'm game, you need to make sure there is somewhere to get out the other side.  Technically the Severn is infamous for being difficult for access rights for canoes, some parts you have to cross to the other side of the river as the land owners aren't as nice as they could be (I won't worry just a few hundred yards).  Its heavy so would not want to be lugging it about on land much without help, even then its heavy.  And of course at your own risk.

sort me something out then then i will show you the best ones when you doing the raffles and let you and rest of the staff see what you think is  best

Thankfully I now have two months of nothing (YAY) to do, all the hard work is now done. Having been on it since mid Feb I'm relieved.

Nah I think people can just walk round, I don't fancy the extra work trying to get any river permissions tbh. See line above

Cool it would have been a bit of hassle and a good laugh, just be jetty perms not river perms as its not an easy ting to hide, but I was just thinking me and my big mouth.
