So I just popped into my local B&M, ostensibly just to buy some wire because I thought I'd have a go at recoiling some of my Kanger heads (inspired by Super-Shiny's marvelous guides), and I walked out with my wire but also a Kayfun 3.1 clone. I'm not sure which one it is but it's nicely machined - no thread gaps and smooth etc - and rather lovely. They demonstrated how to coil it and put a 1.2 ohm on there for me. I filled it with Mrs Lord Rough Shag and am now sitting in front the telly with a cup of tea and 12w clouds from my Vamo

Oh yes, I'm sorry. My local vape store. This one was 35 quid. From my quick searches they do seem to vary quite a bit in price but this one does seem to be very good.

Drill the air holes? Does that apply to all Kayfuns? I didn't know about that and my local shop didn't mention it. I actually had to tighten the air control screw a little bit to get it right.

That's one of the reasons I got mine from the US as the v2 is supposed to have a bigger air hole hopefully I will avoid the drilling. couldn't find one in UK, they were all sold out. Arcturion you only need to drill if you find the draw to tight. I like a loose draw so that's why im left waiting. Plus I like the new look to it link

Oh okay thanks. Mine is just right at the moment but it's good to know that it can be changed if required.

Ripshod Here's the first bit of 'living with' feedback. My wife is in the process of giving up but is not convinced by ecigs because 'they just aren't enough like the real ones' - she's only tried an Evod + eGo battery. She got back from a weekend away, saw my Kayfun + Vamo setup (in 18650 mode) and started to laugh. The she tried it and.... "Now, I have to admit that is pretty good" Edited for grammar.
