I have ordered a Stingray mod with the intention of using it with my Nautilus but have read somewhere it may not be suitable. I know rebuildables such as the Kayfun are more widely used with Mech mods but I don't feel ready to get into recoiling. Any advice would be appreciated

Should be ideal. (Stingray has adjustable pin?)

Should be ideal. (Stingray has adjustable pin?) has floating centre pin - do you think coil size will make a difference eg 1.6 or 1.8 ohms

A 1.6 ohm coil at 4.2 volts will only draw 11.025 watts of power and 2.625 amps current ... well within the scope of a stock head whether single or dual coil.

Maybe you've had more luck than me. I find anything over 8 watts risky on single coil Kangers. (T3S, evod, miniPT). I did try...
