Shinyitis - it's a killer!! Seriously, you are doing exactly the right thing wibble, and as well as backing up your gear, you are making a logical progression to improve the quality of your vape. In some way I wish that the base level kit was a Spinner/MPT one, that way people could save themselves even more money when starting out; it may not be too long and a VV batery will form part of an entry level kit. If you can, get yourself another USB charger too; that's the weak point of all these backups and often overlooked. I know your OH probably has one, but one charger between the two of you ain't enough in my book!

oh listen to me building a list of stuff to get next LOL after only a couple of weeks Hehe, not just you. I had to start a spreadsheet with a little calculator for how much I've saved overall minus my vaping stuff. I've been trying to keep the balance in the black and so far it's been ok but it's been close. Very close

thanks for the pics chykensa I think I'd go for the mini protank - just personal preference on how it looks so thanks for the kind offer @johanino but I wont need a beauty ring Already have a list for my next order ... a mini protank (well will probably order 2 so I have a spare) oh and another VV battery as I prefer this one as opposed to my bog standard one I got with my original kit (oh listen to me building a list of stuff to get next LOL after only a couple of weeks) Can I suggest that you change that mini pro-tank for the mini aero tank, that will allow you to adjust the airflow to allow decent wicking on thicker juices. myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/kanger-aerotank-mini.htmlAnd it looks better too Hmmmmm .. possibly ? Does it make a huge difference then ?

I'll check that one out wibble - apparently there is an Android version. I've tried a couple of other ones and they were a bit pants so that's why I went 'old skool' with the spreadsheet

I'm afraid I just ignored my vape spend and focused on being fag free....even 8 months in I'm probably fair in saying I've not saved much, but I do have enough here to cover Armageddon! That's not strictly fair.... Thinking on I spent £450 on duty free tobacco last year - on holiday - to last me 6 months (which I've since sold) and yes I have spent that on gear but I do at least have a lovely stainless steel to polish and gloat over **my precioussssssss** And nothing is wasted as my teenager uses breaks all my starter gear................

She already tried meddling with my 'best provari' (whilst lashed) I only twigged when I kept looking at it puzzled and then realised the base of a protank was screwed on it and it was sticky with juice............I almost wept. Did the churchy whisper whilst explaining how much they cost to replace - and to not tell her Dad/never touch it again I probably begged? Problem I have now is MY expensive taste, almost everything I own is bloody pricey and I'd probably hurt any person who touched my pride and joy gear In 3 months vaping she's destroyed 4 egos, an itaste vv and a pair of spinners. Problem is, she wont settle for an ugly mod its all about style, and they cant survive her....hence me bagging the wee gripper for emergency, am wondering if I should wrap it in black gaffer tape and never allow her to unscrew carto.... ach! lets be honest, It probably has a death sentance hanging over its poor head already @johanino

I'm in this camp. If you limit the amount you spend, trying to cover costs it will all go belly up. You need a couple of vv batteries, at least a couple of decent toppers ie mini protank , 4 boxes of coils, at least 2 usb leads, and 2 wall plugs plus juice. The savings will come cos you are no longer paying £8 for ciggies, but you really must set up at least 2 decent kits to start with.
