Hi hope someone can help.
Received my SVD Friday evening, happily vaped all day Saturday. Came to turn unit on this morning and it's dead! When I install the battery the led screen lights up to tell me it is set on 10watts, then nothing after that.
i am very new to this vv vw stuff, so hope it's a rooky error and not a dead unit.

Are you sure you're pressing the button enough times and quick enough to turn it on? Those SVD's can be a bit picky you have to do the presses quick enough.

Tried loads of different button presses and nothing.
Can't work out why it lights up when the battery is inserted and then nothing...

Could be a coil gone bad, do you have any spare heads for your atomizer?
Another less likely thing is you could have overtightened the atomizer onto the battery, try backing it up 1/2 turn see if that brings it back.
Did you leave it stood up with juice in? Maybe some has leaked through into the electronics.

When you say "nothing" vom, do you mean with an atty on it?................If so, it could be the atty, not the mod.

Did read somewhere that protected batteries can confuse the chip, what batteries are you using..........saying that it worked yesterday.
Maybe the centre pin might need pulling up a fraction.

Those batteries should be fine. I'm really changing my opinion of the SVD to a definite "Do Not Buy" so many people are having problems with the switch, which it could be in this case, if the switch is faulty you cannot do the button presses to get it to turn on Have a look through the sites I have found by doing THIS search.
