All I can suggest is that you try another browser. Either Chrome or Firefox are good choices. If neither of those work then I'm out of ideas I'm afraid

sammy13 a few things to try Right-click any video, click "Settings'' and uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration". Disable any 'Ad Block' software, play a video; then you can re-enable the Ad Block. If it worked after the fix Arcturion gave you for a while, it might that it has got reset goback to www.youtube.com/html5 and try again. If that fails it might be worth uninstalling flash (again), re-applying that fix and NOT reinstalling flash. If that fails reinstall flash and opt out of HTML5. Good luck.

I saw this a while back on other forums, but the penny dropped literally one minute ago. If you have AMD graphics then just ignore this, and skip to the next post. Recently microsoft updated their nvidia gfx drivers. These drivers messed video playback up on a lot of systems, for win 7, 8, and 8.1. If this fits your system then disable driver updates in Windows Update. Then download the latest drivers from the nVidia site and install them. I'm not 100% on which drivers you'll need, don't have much to do with lappies, Driver page here: select in there the drivers you need. If you're not tech savvie then I'll try and hang around to help.

intel gfx. So just ignore that post. Just downloading the 'Easy Display Manager' from samsung to see if it does contain the actual drivers. 25MB so fingers crossed.
32bit or 64bit flava?

Could be Intel or nVidia looking at the Samsung site. Ripshod could be right, I don't know about the current ones, but on XP & Vista nVidia caused a lot of compatibility probs. Goto control panel, Devices, Device Manager and find your video card look at the properties and you will find the driver info in there.

I have just tried 8 vids on youtube and all started However sometimes they get so far through then I get the error msg. This is what is most confusing, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Trying to watch the clips on another thread today it didn't work.
