Ohh and another quicky (sorry to deviate from topic Hairy) Who does the most realistic tobacco flavour ? Got my dad on e cigs now but he keeps saying everything tastes too sweet , Got him down from 40 fags a day to 4 though even though hes not loving the flavours i`ve picked

hairyscotsman, welcome to AAE-C.

The samples snow linked to are a good idea. Getting 10 of them will probably save you 7 or 8 10ml bottles in the bin. You could save them for swaps, but you'll probably just end up binning them.

B&M stores are 'Bricks & Mortar', real shops rather than internet sellers.

As for the PG/VG, in a nutshell:
PG=flavour and throat hit
VG=clouds and sweetness,
so spend some time to find a balance you like.

I've noted most generally settle with 70/30 PG/VG juices. As Pep has explained you'll want that throat hit at first, but then as you settle in and start enjoying the flavours the throat hit becomes less important and you may decide to go 70/30, or even 50/50.

I'd now consider myself a 'cloud chaser' in that I don't want any throat hit and I just want to totally engulf myself in a cloud. Nothing to do with shyness, no, no. The visual effect makes me happy, and so I mix my own juice at 30/70 PG/VG. I've only been a vaper 2 months and I'm really into it, after all it's saving my life.

I have to admit to not liking the iClear30 that comes with the MVP. Old tech and most "soggy" in it's vaping.

People clicked about my name when I put up my pic   Don't know how close flavour vapour shop in Lochee is to you but these shops are good because you can go in and try lots of juice before deciding what you like and want to buy.
there are probably more but just not on the map because nobody has submitted it yet.

Hi hairyscotsman and a warm from me too.
Regarding the Protank 2, you may find that if you add on the Airflow Controller it will give a less problematic vape as the Protank 2 does tend to slightly leak sometimes.
The airflow controller just replaces the Protank 2's stock base that the coil sits in.

sorry I took a while getting back to you, Taste is very subjective in juice flavours, as a newecomer to vaping as is your dad, you will find that your tastebuds will change. It's just your body getting back to normal after all the baccy abuse it's been put through.

You say your Dad wants the most realistic tobacco flavour ? Do you realise that actual tobacco tastes disgusting, mix of mould,slime and a salty tang!! However if you mean Ejuice tobacco flavour there are so many to pick from. The true connisuer would probably go with a steeped tobacco leaf juice (Not the cheapest option)

My dad is hard to please and being a miserable old **** he wants something to taste like he smells , old and mould sound perfect Got to give him credit though , hes only been vaping for 2 days on someting he`s not totally loving and is down on fags by 90% . I think I will get him onto sweeter flavors at some point soon I`m still sucking on sweet tobacco flavours at the mo .

Hello Cousin Itt to the forum. It looks your days of lurking have paid off. That's a great piece of kit to start on. I wish I had got 1 when I first started.

The iclear 30S that I think is the tank that comes with the MVP is an upgraded iclear 30 I have found it a very good tank and vapes as good as others I have tried, even if it is a little juice happy.
Im sure you've read about aerotanks and aspire nautilus tanks on your travels. Tanks are pretty subjective just like flavours, so its a case of try and see IMO.
I look forward to reading about what you find.
