Thanks very much. I've been buying These and using 1 a week. Am I better sticking to this and causing myself less stress. I really want to give it a go but if people are saying they are a nightmare it might not be worth it.
Oh no. Didn't want to be chucking them out Being a newbie at it I've no clue about shorting stuff and what to look for to try and prevent it. Where can I get my hands on these pads? Obviously don't need millions. Saw 5 pads for $1 on fasttech but is there somewhere in the uk I can get quicker? Has anyone been really successful on here at recoiling these wee gits?
Can I unroll a cotton ball to try it out or must I use the pads? Also using .25 kanthal what mm on my mandrel should I use and how many wraps? At the moment my coils are 2 ohms and got my istick 30w set to 4.1v or 8.4w. Really sorry for all the questions but still new to coiling.
I have around 27 mini nautilus BVC coils. Do I keep buying them or is there a good guide on how to recoil/wick them. I have wire (0.25mm kanthal) and organic cotton wool balls but I'm guessing I need the little pads now. Is the wire ok? how fiddly is it to do ?
I did it no problems on a 9 1/2 hour flight in September and no one was any the wiser. I wouldn't like to try it in the loos as the dectectors scare me. I read that one went off with someone vaping in the loo. They probably weren't caring about double inhaling mind you.
