Yesterday I went to the Royal Cornwall Show as I do every year, this time I went with trepidation as it was my first time as a non smoker, it went VERY well, but what DID suprise me was how FEW smokers there were in the showground, normally every third person would be smoking but in my day there I only saw 2 people on stinkies (and I WAS looking), but on a downside I didn't see ANY vapers, nor was there a Vaping stall which I would have expected, even if it was one of the e-cig companies... nothing. an opportunity wasted I think, someone could have made a killing

Resurrecting this thread as I made the pilgrimage again today, still very surprising results, still a lack of smokers, noticed a few around the beer tent, and only saw one other vaper there, a guy with a spinner/mini protank on a lanyard, tried to catch his eye, and gave a knowing wave with my Yosun/subtank but was totally ignored

I have to say when we were on holiday I started a new hobby ... spot the smoker/vaper LOL We saw more vapers than smokers. The smokers we saw everyday were the people who were like us before we gave up smoking, you know .... standing outside the caravan at 10pm in the pissing rain trying to light a fag !!
I did comment on how nice it was not having to do that anymore

Spot the vaper started to become a bit boring so I started on spot the newbie and advanced vapers LOL suprisingly there were quite a few not on the spinners with protanks !!!

I only seem to bump in to newbie vapers with egos and ce4's. Quite a few notice my setup though and start asking questions. I was at a vape stall at my local market the other day and one of the customers turned more to me for advice than the guy that runs the stall lol. He's not very knowledgeable though tbh. It's nice to see more people taking up vaping though

Same here, whenever I do see a vaper (which is not that often over here) they all seem to be on the egos & ce4 type e-cigs. They do a double take when they see my little istick and if we do strike up a conversation they think the little istick 20w is big

Gawd knows what they'd think when I get my new Kanger Subox with the 4.5ml tank

I do not know about others, but I vape a lot less walking about than I ever smoked. Maybe its the same for others, the addiction is a lot less and just seems awkward to vape while walking so don't bother. When I do I just take a puff or two and put back in pocket, with a fag you are kind of roped into finishing it so more chance of being spotted.

Walked through Newton Abbot today to meet a couple of friends for a Sunday lunchtime ale or three and in the distance of about half a mile I saw six vapers, for had ego ce4 type setups, 1 had an ipv mini with a sub tank on it and the other had an is tick with an aerotank.

Lots of vapers now in Aberdeen - always amuses me the smokers near the big chemist outside which is 2 doors down from the vapeshop LOL

Cameron has done LOADS for vaping in Aberdeen and it's rare his shop is empty!!!

Only yeah, only folk with mods anything like mine (or bigger) tend to be goths! I am not a goth LOL
